Meet The Team

Rebecca Jost, O.D.

Dr. Rebecca Jost obtained her doctoral degree in optometry from Nova Southeastern University. She provides her expertise at Back Bay Eye Care in Weymouth and Boston. Dr. Jost recently joined Cobb Corner Eye Care, which is now merging with the other practices as Back Bay Eye Care— Cobb Corner. This merger allows her to address a range of eye disorders and visual issues, including dry eye, flashers and floaters, styes, and eye infections to the Stoughton and surrounding communities.

Her services include routine eye exams, general eye follow-ups, eye emergency visits, and optometry consultations. Dr. Jost ensures that her patients receive informed care by actively engaging with the latest research and advancements.

When Dr. Jost is not seeing patients she enjoys skiing and boating with her family. She is very excited to start this next chapter with the Cobb Corner team!

Daniel Thurm, O.D.

Dr. Thurm grew up in Boston and is a graduate of Boston Latin School. He completed his degree in Zoology at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst (Cum Laude). Dr. Thurm obtained his doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry. He is a member of the American Optometric Association as well as the Massachusetts Society of Optometry. In his spare time, Dr. Thurm enjoys cycling, hiking, watching movies, traveling, and spending time with his wife and children.

Karen

Karen is our Office Manager and a Registered Dispensing Optician, licensed since 1981, and has been with our team since 2006. She began her optical career when she was eighteen and has excelled in the field since then. She enjoys working with many of our long-time patients helping them choose new eyewear year after year. Has complete knowledge of contact lenses. In her spare time, she loves to travel and spend time with family and friends.

Larry

Larry is a Registered Dispensing Optician since 1980, although new to the office, Larry has been making glasses and helping patients choose their eyewear for over 40 years. He enjoys, golfing, fishing, and being with family and friends.
